Our Facilities

Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology and first-class facilities allowing us to deliver the highest levels of care for our patients.  To ensure the continuity of these standards we are continually upgrading and investing in the latest equipment and facilities we provide.

All areas of the clinic are fully air conditioned to ensure the year-round comfort of our patients and their owners and the team.

Accessibility

Being open 7 days a week makes our service available to you and your pet during convenient times. We understand that modern working people require appointments outside a traditional '9-5'. Please see our opening hours for further information.

Hospital ward

Our clinic has a wide range of comfy, warm and safe kennels so our patients can feel relaxed while they recuperate.

Laboratory

Our onsite laboratory allows us to get results within 15 minutes of taking a sample; this can prove to be lifesaving in an emergency situation.

The facilities include a full range of blood analysis machines (biochemistry and haematology), “bed side” tests for common infectious diseases, microscopes for skin investigation, and incubation facilities to test for bacterial and fungal infections.

Pharmacy

We maintain a complete inventory of prescription only medicines, flea and tick control products, worming treatments and shampoos. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

Surgical suite

Our custom-built surgical suite is equipped with a complete range of surgical and advanced anaesthesia equipment, allowing us to perform a wide range of procedures from routine neutering through to complex orthopaedic procedures.

We take the anaesthesia of all of our patients very seriously.  We have an advanced anaesthesia monitoring system; this provides the Veterinary Surgeon and Nurse with constant measurements of a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure, ECG (the electrical activity of the heart), oxygen and carbon dioxide levels and temperature.

We also routinely maintain all of our surgical patients on a “Bair Hugger” blown warm air heating system to stop the patient becoming cold during surgery.  This advanced equipment, that is normally found only in referral centres, can be lifesaving to our patients.
